Design problems...
"I really want to like this dress, but it honestly has a number of problems construction wise. The good things? The fabric has a pretty forgiving stretch and the pattern is cute, sleeves fit well and are a good length! The bad news: the neck portion bulges strangely, this button feels like its choking me out, it really would have benefitted from just being a white-trimmed vneck with a ruffle to match the sleeves. I ordered a 2x, which means the dress fits...but the proportions do NOT accomodate larger busts. If you have a larger bust, the waist seam of this dress is sitting directly under the bust instead of hitting just above the belly button. I really debated returning it, but I think I am going to keep it for an alteration/sewing experiment where I can cut out the wonky neck closure and keep it a vneck and then also detach the skirt portion and add a middle panel in black to make it actually have a waist.
