Perfect if you never wash it
"The first time I wore this skirt, immediately upon receiving it, I adored it: the pattern was fun, the fabric was swishy, the fit was flattering. Then I washed it. I followed the directions (gentle cycle, cold water), and just getting it out of the washer, the outer layer had already shrunk considerably. I went ahead and hung it to dry, as instructed, in case that magically fixed anything, but it obviously didn't. If the lining weren't IN the seam for the buttons, it could almost look like an intentional second layer, but instead it makes it very obvious the solid red is supposed to be lining, and it makes the the front middle incapable of lying flat. Pretty upset because obviously after washing is too late for returns."
Cold water shrunk skirt but not slip
"After one wash in cold water following the directions, the skirt shrunk and the slip is hanging out the bottom. Really disappointed in the quality now"

"I was excited about this, till I got it. I did check the measurements and purchased based off of that. Its too big and not in a "I can make it work" way. The elastic on the sides are what make it unwearable, in my opinion. I could figure out how to take it in but I bought it nice piece so I won't have to do that. Sigh"

"Really glad I got this 50% off. I ADORE the pattern, it's the main reason I bought it. It fits well, but the fabric itself looks pretty cheap. Really with it was a cotton blend at least. But love that there's pockets."
Awful cheap garbage
"The material feels insanely cheap and like plastic. Even on sale it was a ripoff. The belt is stretchy like rubber and also very cheap. ModCloth is a shell of what it once was."

"I’m a huge fan of this colored pencil design (in fact, I bought the matching blouse). It’s so fun and colorful, and just the sort of “teacher outfit” that I love. The skirt is a great length— long enough to wear to work, but not too long (I don’t personally like midi length all that much). It is made of a nice, swishy fabric that is perfect for twirling! It also has pockets!! Overall, I definitely recommend this skirt. My only slight downside is that it is ever-so-slightly tighter than I would like. But not so tight that it’s truly uncomfortable."
