Return Policy


What is your Return policy?

We hope you love what you ordered! But in case you don't, we will accept returns of unwashed, unworn, or unused items returned in as-issued condition for a full refund to your original payment method. Return items must be received by us within 28 days of the order's original shipment date to be eligible for refund. Once an order has been placed it can't be canceled or changed. In the event of a return, any applied discount/coupon is forfeited and may not be re-used. Shoes must be returned within their original box, and the shoe box must be packaged in an outer protective shipping container for return transit. Swimwear must be returned with the hygienic liner attached and intact. Shipping and handling are nonrefundable. All gift cards are final sale and not eligible to be returned or transferred into another customer's gift card balance. Please note that we currently only have the option to refund the original payment method and are unable to process returns as gifts at this time.

 

Final Sale Items:

Final sale items are not eligible or refund or exchange but can be turned into store credit. Click Here for Store Credit. Please note that all final sale items and late returns sent back without prior authorization will be considered forfeited, and will be handled at ModCloth's sole discretion.

 

Special Note for Chelsea Crew Shoes:

Chelsea Crew shoes can only be returned by mail using the pre-paid label provided in the Happy Returns Portal, click here. To be eligible for refund or exchange, Chelsea Crew shoes must be in new condition, unworn, and returned in their original packaging. All other standard return policy terms apply.

 

Holiday Returns:

Please note we are happy to offer an extended holiday return period for orders placed between November 15, 2024 and December 31st, 2024. During this period, return items must be received within 60 days of the shipped date to be eligible for a refund. Once an order has been placed it can't be canceled or changed. In the event of a return, any applied discount/coupon is forfeited and may not be re-used. Final sale items are not returnable. Shipping and handling are nonrefundable.

We reserve the right to verify original purchase for returns requested without an order number or shipping confirmation. Domestic Returns Method

ModCloth partners with Happy Returns to make your return process easy and convenient. Whether you choose to return in person or by mail, Happy Returns will help process your return quickly and efficiently. Click 'Request A Return' below to look up your order. You have the choice to receive a printable return label or to return in person via Happy Returns. Find your nearest location here

 

For in-person returns (excluding Chelsea Crew shoes), visit any Happy Returns Return Bar location - there's no need to print or package anything. Just bring your item(s) and your QR code into your nearest Return Bar and they'll take care of the rest. There is a $4.50 per item processing fee. Click here to start your return.

 

For mail-in returns, Happy Returns will generate your return shipping label. Please enclose the packing slip inside the package, attach the pre-paid, pre-addressed Return Label to the outside of the box, and drop it off at your closest carrier location. All contiguous U.S. orders will have a $6.95 per item processing fee which will be deducted from the total refund or credit if the provided label is used. ModCloth is not responsible for lost or damaged packages. ModCloth is not responsible for lost or undelivered returns that were sent using your own shipping method. We strongly recommend against using a dropbox that does not have a daily pick up. ModCloth is not responsible for return transit delays due to the use of a dropbox that does not have daily pick up. Shipping and handling are nonrefundable.  Return labels provided by Global-E will cause a flat fee of $10 USD deducted from your return amount.

 

If using your own shipping method to return, please make careful note of your tracking information, as ModCloth is not responsible for lost or undelivered returns made without the use of our label.
