I had WAY too much fun wearing this outfit. The top is hellbunnyofficial, which I got from uniquevintage. The skirt is collectifclothing (rest in peace as of two weeks ago 😭) from modcloth. The tights are snagtights opaque tights in Blood Red color. The shoes are white faux leather keds. My red heart-shaped sunglasses, cheeseburger earrings and white petticoat (not shown) came from my favorite boutique, retrovixenkc! Retro Vixen in Kansas City, Missouri, also sells Hell Bunny clothes, but my size in this particular top was sold out by the time I thought to put this outfit together (heads up: Hell Bunny runs small and I always have to go up two sizes). Retro Vixen currently has a pair of the cheeseburger earrings in stock and some other cute Hell Bunny tops for sale online. I’m just now realizing that, aside from the shoes, all the clothing brands I used to create my U.S. flag-inspired outfit are/were based in the United Kingdom, of all countries! 😅

So today I figured that I would put together a ModCloth outfit and it’s so summery and fun. I’ve had the modcloth shirt with the eyelets on the sleeves for years now. I got the skirt at modcloth and it was such a bargain! The skirt is by Australian brand princesshighwayclothing and I adore it because it has daisies on it ( if you know me well , then you know that I can’t resist just about anything with daises on it).
As for my accessories , I’m wearing a katespadeny Daisy/ bee bracelet and to finish it off I wore betseyjohnson Daisy necklace and matching betseyjohnson Daisy earrings. The shoes are from torrid and they also were a bargain… As The Who would say “ I call it a bargain , the best I’ve ever had” haha! 😂 oh , my hat is from collectifclothing
I was n the hospital the other day visiting my best friend and they had a little museum with old school wheel chairs and old tinctures bottles and that was great because I’m working on writing a period piece . I’m doing so much research on old medicine and how …well I’m not going to say until it’s done haha , but the research alone will probably take at least 3 months. I do however have the outline and I almost have the storyboard done . Life is so crazy 🤪 , sometimes I feel like chaos is queen where I belong 🤷🏻♀️.
