"I ordered a 1X, based on the size chart, because I wanted the legs to be nice and flowy and the waist and hips to not be too tight. Well, that was a mistake, because the waist on these was too big (thanks to the elastic—I missed that mention in the description, so bad on me). That said, I LOVE the print and the fabric is so soft. The simple thing would have been to exchange the pants for a size down, but I purchased these to wear on vacation and would not have the time to complete the transaction, so I carefully altered them myself. In short, REALLY read through the description, take into account that the waistband will stretch, consider sizing down, and fall in love with these pants!"
