"I’ve been to so many thrift stores over rhe years to find a GUNNE Sax dress in good condition & in my size. Thank you ModCloth for teaming up w GS. I received so many compliments when I wore my dress to Lincoln Center for a date night. I felt beautiful & comfortable. I first purchased a large but exchanged it for the medium."

"Only giving 4 out of 5 stars because it could have been designed better especially for the price. Because I’m a little bit on the short side, maybe it was meant for taller torsos but the very wide neckline fully exposes my shoulders and bra straps, though I think if my torso were longer, it might not. Also because I’m just under 5 foot, this dress lands about where a maxi dress would land at about ankle length on me and I’m perfectly fine with that. I would say this is true to size and possibly runs a bit bigger. I have big arms and worried the sleeves could run tight but thankfully they didn’t!"
"Although it’s a pretty dress the comments others have made about the gap with the modesty panel and netting running down the middle is accurate. If you move your arms your bra shows in the gap. Also I had to return a size large for a size medium. The medium waistline was much higher than the large and looked weird on me. I wound up returning both."
"This dress fit perfect and looks so cute. HOWEVER, the lace up front is all mesh and there is no backing to it so you can see straight through it. I’ve been just wearing a tank top underneath to cover it. (And I’m hardly a modest person, this mesh section has got to be about 2 full inches across so you can see a LOT)"
"Beautiful dress, just don't have the bust for it. I ordered based on the sizes listed and it fits great except the bust area. I wear a 36C and there was so much space in the front of the dress. The arm holes are also kind of low on it which exacerbates the extra room in the bust. I'm going to keep it and wear a lacey tank top underneath of it, but I wish the front was a little more adjustable."
"Had the same issue with the modesty panel not being wide enough due to my breast. However I was able to fix it with a simple stitch straight down. This is a design flaw they should have done that or made the modesty strip of fabric wider. Either way it was a five minute fix for me and I do adore the dress. Also not a fan of the cord they used to lace it up with, it frayed first wear. I replaced it with a ribbon."
"So excited to wear this dress! If you have an hourglass or pear shaped figure, this dress is for you. In response to the mesh panel a previous review mentioned, it’s not even noticeable. You do not need to wear a tank top under it. I expect that this dress will be an attention grabber wherever you go in it. It’s beautiful and unique in a “they don’t make ‘em like this anymore” way. Now just waiting for the Gunne Sax Unicorn drop!!!"
"This dress was so well executed until they came to the front closure. Instead of even lines on each side with a lace-up panel in the middle, there’s a mesh panel on one side that’s completely exposed, showing your bra and skin beneath, and, on the other side, the mesh panel has flowered fabric underneath which is much better, but makes the whole front look uneven and mismatched since the other side is exposed. I was SO disappointed because I love everything else about this dress. The fit is perfect for me (5’7” 175 lbs. , XL). There is no way to alter or fix this design problem on your own. I am returning the dress, feeling very sad. Do better with the details, please! The Gunne Sax collaboration is worth it."
"I am so saddened to write this review because I was very excited to see this collection and buy this dress. The bust is very confusing. There’s mesh and visible skin/cleavage but just on one side of the laces and the corset ties asymmetrically. I can kind of see this in the pictures of the models but it looks really strange in person. Everything else about this dress is gorgeous and I hope Modcloth does more collabs with Gunne Sax. I was really hoping for some black and brown colors and this one would’ve been perfect. Sadly it got returned. Still love ya, ModCloth!"
