Adorable, but pilling after one wear

"I loved this sweater from afar for YEARS and finally bought one this year, and my feelings are mixed. On the one hand, it's adorable, super soft, and is incredibly comfortable and vibrant. On the other, after one wear and wash (inside out gentle cycle flat to dry per instructions), the back is pulling like crazy. For the not-on-salr price, I expected a bit more longevity. I'm not mad I bought it - I love the little bat so much ! - but I'm frustrated to have paid full price plus shipping and have it start falling apart this soon. I wouldn't expect this one to stand up to frequent wearing."

Wonderful sweater but had existing flaw I believe

"I got this sweater last year and while I adore it (the design, the style, the fabric), right where the bat design meets the rust-colored fabric, a hole opened up and it is virtually irreparable unless I find someone who can color match and do perfect stitching. Sadly, whatever patch I do will be completely obvious and I know there are worse things in the world than fixing a hole, but I spent a lot of money I probably shouldn't have for this thing and the hole opened up after one wear."

Hi, with all sweaters, dry cleaning is always the safest bet. If dry clean is not an option, then hand wash & line dry is best. You can try machine wash, but it might change the shape of the sweater.
