I think the photo is fake or AI

"I have not ordered from ModCloth in a few years and was so disappointed with all three dresses I ordered this month. The clothes from 5+ years ago (okay, perhaps it was 10+ years ago) were so high quality. I still have many of my older ModCloth clothes. This dress is made from the cheapest material I have ever felt. It was so charged with static electricity that there's no way it would ever lay flat when on. There is no way this is the same dress in the photo."

"I haven’t bought from ModCloth for a while but this was a really eye opening purchase. 80 dollars for a dress that was really thin, cheap material, feels like a cheap Halloween costume. To say I was incredibly disappointed would be an understatement."

Love this dress!!

"At first I didn’t like the fabric on this dress but actually it hangs very nicely on my body, I replaced the belt with a simple glossy skinny black belt from Amazon and it’s perfect! True to size. Bought a large. I bought this at full price after buying the candy wrapper print one on sale. I really love owls. However, if there are more patterns that go on sale, I might definitely buy those. I can never have enough dresses for work."

Very Comfy Casual Dress

"I love this dress without the belt or with a different one. (Definitely a personal preference since I couldn't seem to get the included belt to lie right). The dress was thinner and less formal-looking than I initially anticipated, but I wear it all the time. If you're not just using it as your go-to dress for doing things around the house, I recommend a slip."

Cute but Scratchy

"This dress looks so good with boots, but if I don't wear a tank top and shorts under it, I'm constantly irritated. There's something about the weave that is just scratchy enough to be annoying. It's really flattering, even on my lumpy apple shape, so it gets 4 stars, but the fabric leaves something to be desired."

One of my favorite dresses!

"On two separate occasions, strangers have come up to me and complimented me on this dress! It's super comfortable because it's stretchy (I don't wear the belt though, because that's not my style), and I would buy more identical dresses if they were available in L still. I just purchased the other fabric pattern version (owls) even though that's a little not my favorite pattern, just because the fabric feel, fit, comfort, and shape are so good!"

Owl awful dress

"Awful. Cute pattern, but I could barely see it because of the stretchy. Made of silky, cheap fabric. Does not at ALL fit to ModCloth standards. I thought it would be crisp, nice and solid material. No, I got a hot mess of what amounts to a silky tablecloth. Do not buy this. How can I say it again? I’m really, really really made I spent money on the pile of cheap stuff. Do better ModCloth. I used to be proud of my dresses and got compliments on them. Not this."
